The all-new SC3 model SmartCarb kit replaces the stock carburetor (Mikuni BSR36 or Keihin FCR39) in E, S, and SM model Suzuki DR-Z400 4-stroke bikes, offering crisp, clean throttle response, substantial performance gains, and unparalleled ease of use.

36mm size recommended for most stock bikes. 38mm or 40mm sizes are available for modified bikes (big bore kits, hot cams, etc) or for those prioritizing peak performance.

MagVolt® Throttle Position Sensor option recommended for bikes equipped from the factory with TPS for 3D ignition mapping.

Vacuum Fitting option required when using the stock vacuum operated petcock. DR-Z400 motorcycles equipped with a manual petcock do not require the Vacuum Fitting option.

E model bikes originally equipped with a Keihin FCR39 require the S or SM model airboot for proper fitment (not included).

The SC3 SmartCarb replaces the stock or modified Suzuki DR-Z400 carburetor.

This isn’t your grandpa’s carburetor. The All-New SmartCarb SC3 brings carburetion firmly into the 21st century. E model bikes originally equipped with a Keihin FCR39 (2000-2006) require the S or SM model airboot for proper fitment (not included).

The MagVolt® TPS system is plug-and-play and clips into the same connector as the stock TPS. No adjustments or calibrations required. Short throw throttle cams or tamers are not recommended for TPS equipped bikes.

Vacuum operated petcocks require the Vacuum Fitting option. Manual petcocks do not.
