These kit options are compatible with stock or modified (big bore) Yamaha YFS200 Blaster quads, offering crisp, clean throttle response, substantial performance gains, and easy tool-free tuning.

Kits include the all-new 26, 28, or 36mm size SmartCarb SC3 carburetor with optional throttle kit (depending on size chosen). Intake manifold and airboot/filter required for fitment of the 36mm size option are not included. See the Fitment Information tab below to learn more.

Choose the 26mm option if replacing the stock Mikuni VM26 carburetor in a bone stock, tamely ridden Blaster. Choose the 28mm option for modest performance gains in a stock or mostly stock setup. Choose the 36mm option if you’re running a big bore setup and when increasing top end peak power and overrev are a priority.

Every SmartCarb ships pre-adjusted specifically for your bike setup. Please provide information in the forms below about any engine/exhaust modifications, how you ride (riding style), and what fuel selection and oil premix ratio you use.

Fitment Information

NOTE: SmartCarb kits for the Yamaha Blaster are incompatible with Yamaha’s TORS or Throttle OverRide System. Equipping your Blaster with the SmartCarb requires TORS removal. SmartCarb products are intended for closed course racing by expert riders only. User assumes all responsibility for proper installation and use.

The 26mm SC3 fits directly into the stock intake manifold and airboot without modification. Kit includes:

• 26mm SC3 SmartCarb with optional throttle kit:
  • Keep the Stock Thumb Throttle (cable only): Motion Pro black vinyl throttle cable compatible with the stock Yamaha Blaster thumb throttle - available from Phoenix Motos (mfg part no. 01-0874).
  • Twist Throttle (cable and handset): Motion Pro black vinyl throttle cable (mfg part no. 01-1401) with Motion Pro Vortex SE throttle handset (mfg part no. 01-2810) - available from Phoenix Motos

The 28mm SC3 fits directly into the stock intake manifold and will fit into the stock airboot, however some heat, stretching, and persuasion are required. The airboot spigot outer diameter (OD) of the 28mm SC3 is 7mm larger than the stock Mikuni VM26. Alternatively 50mm pod style air filters or those that are designed to work with the Keihin PWK28 or Mikuni TM28 are a direct fit. Kit includes:

• 28mm SC3 SmartCarb with optional throttle kit:
  • Keep the Stock Thumb Throttle (cable only): Motion Pro black vinyl throttle cable compatible with the stock Yamaha Blaster thumb throttle (mfg part no. 01-0874) - available from Phoenix Motos.
  • Twist Throttle (cable and handset): Motion Pro black vinyl throttle cable (mfg part no. 01-1401) with Motion Pro Vortex SE throttle handset (mfg part no. 01-2810) - available from Phoenix Motos

The 36mm SC3 has a 46mm outer diameter (OD) spigot that requires a larger aftermarket intake manifold (not included). Any aftermarket Yamaha Blaster intake manifold designed to accept a 46mm OD carburetor spigot (36-40mm Keihin PWK or 38mm Mikuni TMX) are a direct fit. Aftermarket intake manifolds designed to accept a 34mm or 35mm carburetor (42mm spigot OD) are also compatible, though some heat, stretching, and persuasion may be required to accept the 36mm SC3. 64mm or 2.5 inch ID pod style air filters designed to work with the 36-40mm Keihin PWK or 38mm Mikuni TMX will fit the 36mm SC3. Kit includes:
