These kit options are compatible with stock or modified Yamaha YFZ350 Banshee quads, offering snappy throttle response, maximum power potential, and incredible ease of use.

Kits include SmartCarb SC3 carburetor(s) only. Twin kits include one Right Hand (RH) carburetor and one Left Hand (LH) carburetor. Parts/components required for fitment/throttling are not included.

Choose the Twin 28s option if replacing the twin 26mm Mikuni carburetors in a stock or mostly stock 350cc setup.

Choose the Single 36, 38, or 40mm option if replacing a similarly sized aftermarket Keihin/Mikuni carburetor or if you spend more time at low revs riding trail, woods, or tight/technical conditions where bottom end or low speed torque and tractability are a priority.

Choose the Twin 36, 38, or 40mm SC3 option if replacing similarly sized aftermarket Keihin/Mikuni carburetors or if you’re running a bored/stroked setup and you’re spending most of your time in the mid to upper throttle range, riding dunes, desert, or where top end peak power and overrev are a priority. Inward facing fuel fitting option recommended for Banshees with inboard pipes (Toomey, etc).

In general we recommend the 36mm options for bored/stroked 350-421cc setups, the 38mm options for bored/stroked 421-500cc setups, and the 40mm options for bored/stroked 500cc+ setups.

Every SmartCarb ships pre-adjusted specifically for your bike setup. Please provide information in the forms below about any engine/exhaust modifications, how you ride (riding style), and what fuel selection and oil premix ratio you use.

Fitment Information

NOTE: SmartCarb kits for the Yamaha Banshee are incompatible with Yamaha’s TORS or Throttle OverRide System. Equipping your Banshee with the SmartCarb(s) requires removal of the TORS system. SmartCarb products are intended for closed course racing by expert riders only. User assumes all responsibility for proper installation and use.

Twin 28s:

The 28mm SC3s accept stock, non-TORS throttle cables.

They will fit into the stock intake manifolds but they are very tight and some heat, stretching, and persuasion may be required. Alternatively, any aftermarket intake manifold kit designed for the Keihin PWK28 will work with 28mm SC3 SmartCarbs.

The Twin 28s have larger diameter filter-side spigots than the stock carburetors and require larger airbox boots. Any aftermarket airbox boots designed for the Keihin PWK28 will work with 28mm SC3 SmartCarbs.

Twin 36-40s:

An aftermarket throttle cable is required when using Twin 36, 38, or 40mm SC3s. Contact Phoenix Motos for more information

Intake manifolds designed to accept a 46mm diameter spigot are compatible with the Twin 36, 38, or 40mm SmartCarbs.

Aftermarket airbox boots are required when using the stock airbox.

Inward facing fuel fittings are available for Banshees with inboard pipes (Toomey, etc).

Single 36-40:

36, 38, or 40mm SC3s require an aftermarket throttle cable. Any cable designed for a 36-40mm Keihin PWK is directly compatible with SmartCarbs of similar size.

We recommend the shortest possible 1-into-2 intake manifold when adapting Single 36-40mm SmartCarb kits.
