This VintCo piston kit is for 1974-1975 Yamaha YZ250 models and provides a forged replacement piston assembly for vintage 2-stroke engines in 71.0 mm, +1.0 mm oversize. It includes the piston, rings, pin and clips, while the wrist pin bearing is available separately. The kit is made in Germany using modern materials and manufacturing techniques for OEM-style fitment and performance, and the supplied rings are intended for Nikasil-plated or iron-lined cylinders rather than the original chrome-plated Yamaha cylinder.
